We did not want to leave and definitely want to stay in that area again, liked the hotel. Everything was lovely, excellent staff, particularly good location so close to the local attractions such as the Zoo and the Observatory which is must do and the Zoo and the Observatory which is must do. The room was well-kept and brand-new and had private bathroom plus a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and fridges. The bed was comfortable with electric blankets.
Everything was exemplary.

The room was clean and tidy; and modern.
The Executive Queen Room does not have a parking bay outside the room as the standard rooms do. I had to park on the corner of the office wall in a tight precarious location that made us have to lug our ports down the length of the office, side door, no parking driveway and 5 other rooms. Our room door was within arms reach of the pool gate (on the same corner of the motel) which made it a popular area particularly with young people. The front of our room is 2 steps to the front fence that borders the Newell Highway that carries a large volume of heavy vehicles and the noise would be something that needs to be accustomed to. It seems the standard rooms are buffered from the noise with their rooms further back with our room providing part of that buffer. It made for a very interrupted sleep experience and having to drive the next day while tired made it seem a very long and tiring day. The little fridge is stuffed full of the usual overpriced small items, the lights seem to be dim which I assume have light saving bulbs and what you encounter in some motels. However the advertisement for the Executive Queen Room on the motels website list the price and the facilities. "Room consists of one queen bed with a setee, separate writing desk and luggage rack. For your comfort there is a Dining Table and Chairs to fully enjoy our Room Service for Breakfast and Dinner. Bathroom has all modern 4 star appointments including hair dryer. Mini bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities to 4 star standard. ** PLEASE NOTE; Different rates apply during School Holidays, Easter & Long Weekends. 2 day minimum booking required during Easter.

This place has a fantastic central location right next to the zoo and the observatory, both of which are a must-visit! Plus, there's a bowling club and McDonald's just next door. 🦁.

Room was comfy in size and cleanliness. Good bathroom facilities.
No interest shown by staff when asked about local information which could have been helpful to newcomers. Staff communication poor.

The fact that we could stay in our room, have a few drinks & have a delicious meal brought to our room. It was close to the zoo too.
